Obtaining a New Kansas Drivers License 
To apply for a new Kansas drivers license you must:

  • Submit proof of identity and proof of residence 
  • Provide Social Security number for proof of citizenship
  • Pass the C class knowledge test
  • Pass the vision screening test
  • Surrender any valid drivers license or permit issued by any other state
